Happy Friday everyone! I have a new bridal session today to share! Erynn was shot at the beautiful Caldwell in Abbeville. This place is amazing! I always love when I get to do a shoot there! I also always love when a bride brings her mother’s dress for a few shots too! I’ve posted a few shots of Erynn in her mother’s stunning wedding gown at the end. Oh which reminds me, have a great mother’s day weekend to all you mom’s out there!

I’ve been editing lots of bridals lately and can’t post them here because they don’t want to let anyone see them before their wedding day. So all those wonderful, beautiful bridal portraits will just have to wait a bit longer until I can blog them. But today I finished Simone’s bridals, and since she slipped into her mother’s wedding dress right at the end of shoot, I’m able to share a few of those pictures now.

I loved this dress! It’s a 1970′s gown that was actually hand made by the bride! (Simone’s Mom)

I love when my brides bring their mother’s dresses. Vintage dresses are such an inspiration and we end up shooting such unexpected pictures.

The moment I saw this tree, I knew the exact shot I wanted with it.

As you can see, Simone brought her dogter with her to the shoot. She pranced in and out of our shots, which i loved. But i love how she’s trying so hard to be noticed in this photo above! She’s such a camera hog-dog!

Sarah’s Bridals – Mom’s Dress Sneak Peek!

I’m on a mission! I am in ? with the vintage dresses brides have been bringing to their bridal sessions! We spent a long time on Sarah’s bridals and by the time we got around to her mom’s dress, there was only 10 minutes of daylight left, but the pictures were magical! Part 1 will be just the few pics we took in her mom’s dress. Part 2 will have all the rest of her bridal session!

Love the back-bend!! Sarah was fearless and was up for anything!

I ? sleeves! For a moment I thought I could hear The Sound of Music as I was shooting her! Haha!

The sun went down on us fast. I wish I could have spent more time on this dress! But that’s ok. We made it work in only 10 minutes and I love the shots we got. Sarah you look marvelous! I hope you and your mother love them!

Laura’s Bridals + Vintage Gown

This post will be a little long for a few reasons. 1. Laura brought a vintage dress to wear during the begining of her shoot, and you know how I’m loving those vintage dresses these days!!! This one belongs to her future mother in law. 2. Her dress was absolutely fantastic, and she did an incredible job in her photos…. she looks stunning! 3. She brought the groom for the last part of the shoot! Now that’s how you take advantage of a bridal shoot! Only thing is with so much going on you have to work really fast, but I absolutely love her pictures and I’m excited to finally share them!
