Jen - Dear Dawn Earles,

I am a huge fan of your work and I am so amazed by your photography. I wish I could have had you do my bridals and bride/groom photography…neither of which I was pleased with my for wedding. The aspect I like most about your photography is that there is a sense of magic and fantasy and a fairy tale quality with your bridal and wedding couple portraits. The beautiful climate, tall trees and lush foilage where you shoot certainly adds to this ethereal quality. I also like the effects you choose for certain pictures…infared, double exposure, different filters and unique coloring. I have looked at hundreds of photography websites from around the country and you are one of the only ones who has this sense of magic in her wedding photography…and uses effects so often that make your photography look timeless…the opposite of dated and trendy.

Unfortunately, I live in Northern Virginia, near D.C. and we don’t have any trips to your state planned anytime soon. My husband and I are looking for a photographer to shoot some bridal and newlywed/bride & groom photography in our wedding attire, we need some to display in our home…we only have about 3 of us alone from our entire wedding and no stylistic/fine art shots of us together at all!… Are there any photographers who you would recommend in my area who you think have these qualities I like about your photography? Surely there is no one with exactly your style, but perhaps there is a photographer who is similarly minded in their artistic vision. Please E-mail me back when you can. Thanks!

Stacy and Darrell Engagements

I had a great time with Sacey and Darrell for their engagement portraits!  They were playful, fun and open for anything!  Here are some of my favorites from the day, and check back soon for her bridal post and an enormous wedding post!
