South Louisiana Wedding Photography | Meghan and Dustin

Meghan and Dustin were married May 4th in a beautiful vintage themed wedding. It was such a fun day that started with hair and makeup and a brunch with the girls, and ended with a stunning reception at La Louisane.

Their engagement story:

We had been together at the time for 3 years & It was my 23rd birthday he surprised me with a surprise birthday party with my close family & friends. He had an LSU cake for me & the party was LSU themed because he knows how much I love LSU Football. Then he made me sit right by my LSU cake to blow out my candles & as soon as I did that he grabbed my hand and asked to marry me in front of the people we love the most. It was the most special night ever! And I was very happy that my Great grandmother (that just recently passed away) was there to see it even though she didnt make it for our wedding, at least she seen me get engaged to my bestfriend & the one I love.

The wedding day:

My favorite details were the broach that was on my wedding cake my grandfather gave it to me a couple years before he passed, as well as the bible that the ring barrier (Dustin’s godchild) was carrying which was dustin’s great grandfathers (he passed away) that he read all the time. It was extra special that it belonged to the ring- barriers great grandfather.
