South Louisiana Wedding Photographer | Malorie and Jacob

Malorie and Jacob were married on May 5th in a beautiful rustic vintage wedding.  The ceremony took place at Sacred Heart in Broussard and the Reception was held at the new Keith’s Ballroom.

How it all started:  Our wedding day is a Jacob and I will never forget. It was absolutley beautiful and more than amazing! We had such a wonderful group of family and friends that made it that much more special. Jacob and I met in high school but reunited through friends couple years after graduating. I will never forget in New Orleans is where it all started when I invited him along with my family and friends to celebrate my 22nd birthday! Since then we have been unseparable and I knew right then and there that I will marry this guy one day! The proposal was one of a kind! It all started at Randol’s Restarant where we danced, ate crawfish with both our families. After dinner, Jacob’s dad hands out scratch offs from Randols stating that we can all win something. It looked real with barcode and all! And little did we all know that Jacob’s mother made these “fake” scratch offs. My sister scratches free dessert. My other sister scratches free champagne. And when I scratch mine not realizing, but it said Malorie, Will you marry me? I was in complete shock and after five minutes of crying I responded with YES! Our wedding was everything and more and we could not have done this without the help of everyone making this the best day of our lives.

Favorite Moments:  Having both my parents walk me down the isle and to see my future husband brought tears to my eyes that I could not control. Having all of our family and friends surrounding us on this special day that we will never forget as long as we live. My older sister made my bracelet for the wedding day. The broach within my bouquet was also handmade and given to me by my old sister for her wedding. I surprised her and placed it in my bouquet.
Favorite Details:  Purse that was crocheted by my great aunt passed down to me, handmade rosary my aunt made from jacobs first dozen roses he gave me, my something blue was all my bridemaids signed the bottom of my shoes, I made the pew markers, programs and girl’s jewelry and their vintage clutches handmade by moi!
