If your tired of waiting for your man to pop the question, today may be your lucky day! It’s the one day that it’s traditional for the woman to ask the man to marry her, Leap Day! And if he rejects your proposal, he has to buy you 12 pairs of shoes!! …Ok, I made that last part up. But it was once tradition for a man to buy the woman he rejected 12 pairs of gloves so she could hide her ring-less finger! Of course, not every woman has the patience to wait for a day that comes once every 4 years before she can be the one to ask. Some of us don’t mind doing the proposing, no matter what day it is. I was one of them. I proposed to my husband and took him by surprise! Of course, he told me NO so that he could turn around and be the one to propose to me, haha! So are there any other women out there that did the proposing? I’d love to hear your story!
