Many women from our mother’s generation preserved their wedding gowns in the hopes that their daughters may someday wear them. However, now days most brides want to pick out their own dress that fits their own personalities and styles, so not many brides are actually walking down the isle in their mother’s gown. But this bride didn’t let her mother’s perfectly preserved gown go to waste. When Bobbie booked her bridal session, she asked if she could shoot a few shots of her wearing her mother’s gown at her bridal session in addition to her own dress that she will be wearing for the wedding. I thought it was a great idea, and i think it would be great if more brides showed up with their mother’s gowns in addition to their own. Bridal portraits are all about having fun anyway! And how cool is this???? We decided to do a remake of one of Bobbie’s mother’s original bridal portraits! {I will be posting the rest from this shoot shortly.}
