She’s so amazing! She’s so beautiful! We are so happy! She came to us on January 28 after 27 hours of labor. She was 9 days late!! She weighed in at 8lb/12oz (almost 9 lbs!) and 21.5inches long! I can’t believe I carried someone so big! She’s got a head full of dirty blond hair and blue eyes. I’m keeping busy learning how to be a mommy. It’s been a tough week but it’s also been an amazing one. We are so excited! I’m a little slow at getting to all the emails right now but I will answer them all.

Look at all that hair! We are curious to see what color it will eventually be. Right now it’s about the same color as mine, but when I was a baby, my hair all fell out and grew back white until I was in about 6th grade.
I love to watch her sleep. The moment she was born she lifted her head off my belly and looked around…it really freaked out everyone. We call her super baby now. She’s even practicing her push-ups. She sleeps on her arms, it’s so cute! And I love to watch the expressions she makes while sleeping.
Her feet are so big, the footprints went out of the border of the paper they press it on…haha!
The beginnings of her collection. Her face is resting next to Lamby…who was a gift to me when I was born. As a child he was my security blanket and yes, even through adult hood, he always stayed in my bed. I always wanted to pass him down to my first born and I finally had the chance. I hope he makes her as content as he made me all these years.

Hey guys! Yeah, she is huge!!! I can’t believe I carried AND delivered such a huge baby! We were going to take her out there today but Dustin got nervous about bringing her outside….. ah, the over protective daddy. Haha!

Thank you! I admit I’ve been super busy making the adjustment. Dustin has been home to help me but he’s going back to work this week. I’m exclusively breastfeeding right now and she eats every hour so it’s hard to break away at times to check the blog or email….. enjoying my time with her while I have it before i return to work next month!
